Assistant Contingency Planner

(AUX-ACP)

Upon completion of this personal qualification, an Auxiliarist will hold the minimum competencies to assist their local Marine Safety Office in planning for various incidents. Auxiliarists may need specific security clearance levels as determined by their command. If such clearance is required, it is up to the command to make such a request.

Download AUX-ACP PQS

This link will download the Personal Qualification Standard Workbook for this specialty.  This is the Official record of your specialty training so you will want to protect it, and keep it legible.  It will contain the record of your training, and be submitted to the Commanding Officer of your assigned Active Duty Unit for submission and signature when completed.  Many Auxiliarists optionally print it at a commercial document processor, like Kinko's, Office Max, Office Depot, Staples, etc. and have it assembled with a spiral binding to ensure it is legible and in good shape, although this is not mandatory.

Note: This is one of the specialties that most likely require a Satisfactory PSI for a Direct Operations (DO) Clearance before you can start this specialty, or perform many tasks.  You should check with the local unit you are supporting to determine if a DO clearance will be required.  Before starting this PQS check with your local MS Staff officers to see if it should be initiated, and if a DO is required prior to starting this PQS.  It may take 6 months or more to complete and gain the clearance.

The following links will take you to the documentation required for this PQS
N.B.  Some of the document required (Highlighted in Red)  are on a need to know basis and will not be available for internet access.  Contact your training officer for access to these documents
